Rules Have Changed is a platform where we connect and support all creatives interested in using AI in their work. We provide courses, lectures and workshops to pass on experiences and organise a two-day international conference and Ai FilmFest.
In addition to Saturnin, Zdeněk Jirotka also wrote a book of short stories called “The Rules Have Changed”. In one of those short stories, there is a loop playing musical painting. Jirotka was my great-uncle and he and my grandfather used to go as youngsters to the gamekeeper’s lodge in Staré Hamry where the painting was originally displayed. The lodge has long since been under the surface of the Šance reservoir, but Grandpa saved the playing painting, so it is playing its loop now in our cottage in the Beskydy Mountains.
And when artificial intelligence literally exploded in the creative fields two years ago and I immersed myself in exploring the new horizons opening up for creators, I started wondering where would there actually be a place for humans as creators in this new AI world. How will creatives cope with this mega-transformation?
Step by step, this crystallised into the platform I decided to call “The Rules Have Changed”. Why? Well, because it seemed to me to be the most apt for what’s happening around us right now. No boring “AI this” or “AI that”.
Under the “Rules Have Changed” banner, we’re now rolling out everything from an AI conference for makers to AI FilmFest or courses and experimental workshops. We believe that this is not the end of creativity, but a new beginning. It’s just that the rules of the game have changed.
havran 🙂
Many people are involved in the development of the platform and its activities. The core team consists of Martina, Tom and Havran, informal group of others joins occasionally during our AI events.
Kačka
Project Manager
With the compass pointing to the AI horizon, Kača is plowing through the waters of processes, technology and service design. When she's not hunting for digital pearls of wisdom and plunging them into the world of education, she's roaming the hills and wild trails with her pack.
Tom
Best Boy
Every technical problem has a solution, he said, and spent 42 more terrible hours on it. Tom likes to cook, but fortunately it doesn't show yet. And when he's not cooking (or eating), he's watching movies and series, which he also translates. And he consumes gallons of milk.
